The Emotion Process

The Emotion Process is a 6-week guided program designed to help you work with your emotions rather than feel controlled by them—so you can feel steadier and clearer in your daily life. Many of us carry emotions that were never fully processed. Over time, these unfinished emotional experiences can create stress, repeating patterns, self-doubt, and disconnection from ourselves, others, and life.

This program offers a step-by-step process. Nothing is forced, and you are always invited to meet what arises at your own pace.

In this program, you will learn how to recognize emotions in the body, support their movement through breath and awareness, and understand the message they carry. When emotions are acknowledged and allowed to complete their natural cycle, they no longer remain stuck, repeating themselves in the body and mind. Instead, they release the tension they create—opening the door to greater clarity, inner freedom, and a deeper connection with yourself.

Each weekly session combines grounding practices such as breathwork, gentle movement, or meditation with guided reflection and discussion. Through self-inquiry and practical tools, you will explore how emotions arise, how the mind influences them, and how attachment, resistance, or old beliefs can keep emotional energy stuck.

Over six weeks, you will learn to:

• Recognize emotions through the signals of the body
• Support emotional movement through breath and awareness
• Understand the role of the mind and limiting beliefs
• Release attachment to outcomes and expectations
• Cultivate compassion, trust, and emotional resilience
• Use emotions as guidance for more intentional choices in life

By the end of the program, emotions no longer feel like obstacles to manage but become clear messages you can trust—helping you understand yourself more deeply and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional freedom.

Each session is 60 minutes and combines grounding practices, teaching, reflection, and integration so participants can both understand and experience the Emotion Process.

This program is for you if:

• You are going through a life transition and seeking greater clarity and stability.
• You are grieving a loss and want a gentle way to understand and work with the emotions that arise.
• You notice repeating emotional patterns or limiting beliefs and would like to change the way they influence your life.
• You want to develop a deeper relationship with your emotions and learn how to listen to the message they carry.

• Grounding practice — breathwork, gentle movement, or meditation
• Teaching and discussion of the weekly theme
• Guided self-inquiry and journaling
• Integration practice to support emotional processing

Through these sessions, participants gradually learn how emotions arise, how they move through the body and mind, and how to allow them to complete their natural cycle.

Week 1 — Breathe & Pause

Creating Awareness of Emotions in the Body

We begin by reconnecting with the body through breath awareness and body scan meditation. Participants learn how emotions first appear as physical sensations and how mindful breathing helps calm the nervous system and bring awareness to the present moment.

Week 2 — Emotions as Energy

Understanding the Body–Mind–Emotion Connection

This session explores how emotions move through the body as energy and how the mind can either support or block this natural movement. Participants are introduced to the yogic understanding of the mind, including the roles of the Ego and the Intellect.

Week 3 — Emotional Patterns and Limiting Beliefs

Observing the Mind

Participants learn how emotions are often connected to deeper beliefs and recurring mental patterns. Through reflection and discernment, they begin to recognize how the mind shapes emotional reactions and how awareness can interrupt these cycles.

Week 4 — Attachment and Emotional Freedom

Understanding What We Hold On To

This session explores the concept of attachment in yogic philosophy and how identifying happiness with external circumstances can create suffering. Participants learn how awareness and detachment allow emotions to be experienced without becoming trapped by them.

Week 5 — Compassion, Trust, and Surrender

Allowing the Emotional Process

Participants explore the role of trust—in themselves, in relationships, and in the unfolding of life. This week introduces the concept of surrender as a conscious release of resistance, allowing emotions and life experiences to move through with greater ease.

Week 6 — Emotional Wisdom and Intentional Living

Emotions as Inner Guidance

In the final session, participants integrate what they have learned and begin to see emotions as signals that guide their choices. Through reflection and practice, they reconnect with their values, strengthen self-trust, and learn how to respond to life with greater clarity and intention.

The group is limited to 5 persons and will begin on Tuesday, April 7 (time to be determined).
